December 28/29—Invest, Part 1 The world may be growing darker and changing, but God’s plan isn’t. His plan is—and always has been—to have a personal relationship with us. He wants to teach us His ways, purposes, plan for our lives, and how to put Him first. God is also a just god, and He will not expect from us things we don’t have—but He does expect things of what we do. This can be anything from our time, to our relationships, to our finances. Join us this week as we kick off our new message series leading into the New Year, and learn how we can invest back into the Kingdom of God. Picture Perfect Christmas Weekend of December 21 and 22, 2013 Welcome to Life Change Church We are so excited to have you join us for our special Christmas service! Whether you are joining us for the first time, haven't been in a while, or have been attending for years, we want to give you a little bit of information about who we are and some of the things we have going on here at the church! Our Vision—Grow in God. Love Others. Reach Our World. Grow in God – Growing in God will always be our sole purpose and we want that to be in the heart of every individual. A growing church starts with individuals having a growing relationship with God. Love Others – It is what Jesus did, it is what we want to do. Jesus was about people, so we are about people. Our church will grow when we learn to love others. Reach Our World – We want to reach our world and it all starts with you. In order for us to move forward we need to do our part. When we each do our part to reach the people around us, our world is going to be changed by the love of Christ. Small Groups—e-Groups Begin the week of January 6 Life has it’s ups and downs, and no one wants to go through it alone. Our e-Groups are all about building relationships and doing life together! We know when we come to a weekend service we are getting filled with joy. It’s during the rest of the week we want to hold on to that joy. During this winter session, we are going to grow together by purposing to live out a life filled with joy by replacing our negative thoughts with positive thoughts. Philippians 4:8 shows how we can begin to live every day filled with joy in our: marriages, parenting, friendships, finances, work, communication, and accomplishments. We have groups for adults, students, children, couples, and even focus groups. Pre-Marriage is also being offered this session! LC Kids Ministry LC Kids is all about helping your children become fully-devoted, life-long followers of Jesus. From birth with Child Dedication, to the preschool and elementary ages, we have a huge team in LC Kids, of nearly 100 volunteers that are dedicated to taking the best care of you and your family. We love children and we love watching them grow up loving Christ. We would love for you to be apart of this amazing ministry and join in our team’s aspiration. You can get involved on Wednesday nights during e-Groups or on any weekend service in several ways: Nursery, 2 and 3's classroom, 4 and 5's classroom, Elementary classroom or the Children's Check-in. Revolution Student Community—6th-12th grade Sunday nights—4:30-6:00 pm What do teenagers really want in life? What do they need? Most teens are constantly thinking about their friends and relationships. We all want to be loved and accepted for who we are! Revolution Student Community is an incredible place for teenagers to begin to build great relationships that will lead to the greatest relationship they could ever have: one with God. Our main gathering is on Sunday nights from 4:30-6:00 pm and our small groups meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:15. During the month of December we will not have Rev on Sunday night December 22nd or 29th due to Christmas and the New Year. But, hang on!!!—because we will be hitting January in full force! Here are a few things coming in 2014: The launch of Jr. High Rev, The annual Chili Cook-off, The Awakening youth retreat, and an incredible mission trip to Guatemala!
