SERVICE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS (SLPs)
The Kiwanis Club of Oviedo-Winter Springs currently provides leadership training and service opportunities to 320 students through local Key and Builders Clubs. Our Kiwanis goal is to encourage servant leaders in our community and reinforce the benefits of being responsible citizens to these young people

KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL EMPHASIS
Tetanus kills one baby every nine minutes. And it marks the baby’s short life with excruciating pain—preventing even the comfort of the mother’s touch. But maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) is easily preventable. For roughly $1.80, health care workers can fully immunize a woman and her future babies. Working with UNICEF, Kiwanis, Key, Builders, K-Kids and Aktion clubs all over the world, we will eliminate MNT from the planet. Ask any Kiwanis member how you can help save mothers’ and babies’ lives. The Kiwanis Club of Oviedo-Winter Springs has raised enough money, to date, to immunize over 4,400 women and their future babies. Kids Need Kiwanis - all over the world.
