2016 - 2017 Gtown Elite Elementary Tristin Wilson and Taeshawn Nash exemplify the characteristic of effort. Every day as all of the bus riders exit the building they hold the doors and are the last two students to get on the buses. They do so with huge smiles!!!
Kayla Kirk always comes in ready to work. She gives her best effort on her assignments. She aims to please her teachers and peers. Kayla works hard all day, everyday!
January | Effort Jr. High / High School Alexis Williams is always prepared for class, completes her homework and assignments on time (sometimes ahead of time), and works very hard to keep her grades at a high level. Alexis always puts in extra time to make sure that her work is the result of her best effort. Even when she struggles with understanding a new concept, she never gives up and works hard to complete what is expected of her. I am very proud of Alexis for her hard work and extra effort that she puts forward to be academically successful.
Robert Aubry is a 9th grader in my Blake Noschang has been putting forth great effort in all of his classes. He is making great strides to be a better student and it is showing in his grades. We are so proud of Blake and how hard he is working to complete all of his assignments in class and at home. He has been turning in all of his homework assignments and has almost completed a project that isn't due until March 20.
English 9 class, always shows effort. Robert works extremely hard to accomplish tasks even when they are challenging. He strives to do his best at all times. Not only does he show work in his classes, but he puts in the effort of being respectful and kind to others around him. He is a great role model for others.
Shelby Nichols was nominated by her peers in her 8th grade Advisory group. Shelby keeps her grades up, tries hard in everything she does, including volleyball, and is respectful to everyone.
Desiree Carter is a wonderful student and demonstrates the asset of effort on a daily basis. She is such a hard worker and will strive to really understand the material presented in class. She will do extra work, comes in before school to ask questions and never misses an assignment. She is also involved in several extracurricular activities and I know she shows just as much effort there as well. I wish all students had that much effort and drive to succeed.
