Preparing your youngster to “Hit the ground running” when the season starts!

Why Spring Training? • • •
Introduce baseball fundamentals to 4, 5 & 6 year olds. Help returning Shetland players get ready for the upcoming season. Increase confidence & meet new friends
How does it work? • • •
Each player is assigned to a team. Special requests will be honored! Coaches lead their team through a series of stations: Hitting, Catching, Throwing, Fielding & Base Running. On the final day of Spring Training, they get to show off their newly learned skills & play in a game!
Do I sign my child up for BOTH Spring Training & Shetland Baseball? • •
Yes! While you can sign up for just Spring Training, it is highly encouraged to sign up for both. Spring Training is designed to give the kids a great start to the season.
Are Parents welcome? •
We love Parent participation! Come early, stay and play with us for the entire time if you can.
How much does it cost? • •
$99 which includes 4 supervised sessions, MLB t-shirt & hat. They will make new friends, have fun and learn baseball all for less than $25 per session!
When/ Where is it? • •
January 28th, February 4th, 11th and 25th from 9:00am - 10:30am Westlake Elementary Shetland Field
What does my son or daughter need to bring? •
Baseball glove, batting helmet, cleats and a bottle of water. We will provide everything else.
