7 HILLS Culturally Current Communication Crossroads is a place that helps connect those who are exploring God’s love and truth. The challenge for us is that the Bible was written a long time ago for people in another culture. The fact that we live in 21st century Cincinnati doesn’t change the message that God gave 2,000 years ago, but it does mean that we need to do some work to connect it to our lives today. Jesus did exactly the same thing when he was teaching. He used the current language and daily life experiences of those around him to communicate truth. That’s what we mean by “culturally current communication.” Ecclesiastes 12:10 The Seven Hills We Die On are applications of biblical truth expressed through the unique personality of Crossroads. Check out the Info Center for the rest of ‘em.
How did Crossroads get here? Discover more about the vision behind Crossroads, how you can get involved (if you want) and ask your own questions at the next Context Live event on Sunday, May 18 at 1pm (Florence, Oakley and West Side only). Meet some people. Get some questions answered. A light lunch is provided, childcare is not. For more details and to RSVP, visit crossroads.net/contextlive.

Relax It’s OK to laugh at church. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take what we do VERY seriously. As a result, we like to make fun of ourselves, and sometimes, the Bengals. We believe that God has a sense of humor and that you should, too. But if you don’t think it’s funny, feel free to email us, and later we’ll have a good laugh at what you wrote. (Kidding! See? We did it again.)
