Adding Phase NCID to Your NCID Integration 2 1 (Planning) (Customer Initiation) Trusted Site List
tIt has come to our attention that some NCID users, who are using Internet Explorer 8, are experiencing problems registering or logging in to NCID. We have found that adding NCID to the Trusted Site list has helped resolve these issues for some NCID users. To add NCID to your trusted site list: 1. Open Internet Explorer 8. 2. From the menu, click on Tools, and then click on Internet Options.

5. The “Trusted Sites” screen is displayed. In the “Add this website to the zone” field, type: https://ncid.nc.gov, then click on Add. The NCID website will be added to the list of trusted sites. Additionally, add the following websites to the Trusted Sites list by repeating this step for each website: https://idpncid.nc.gov and https://ncidp.nc.gov. Note: The 'https://' is required if the Require service verification (https:) for all sites in this zone option is checked.
