We would like to praise God that kids from different communities will be attending our Summer Program. The Edge Camp is a balanced program with academics and lots of fun built in. We are extremely excited and have an awesome staff in place along with student leaders who will be on this amazing journey of sharing God’s Love with these kids. Many of our Zion friends and members have stepped up to shop and cook lunch for our student leaders and staff. We would like to thank Jeanne Becnel for organizing and putting together the team of Zion cooks. Helping with sweet snacks will be Marie Hong and Sharon Low will be a part of grocery shopping. Thank you all for making a difference in our lives. If anyone is interested in lending a hand, please let Jeanne know. Volunteers are always welcome! Please sign up on the chart & put the yellow form with your dedication in Janet Jung’s drawer in the Hebrews coffee house. The cost is $35.00. ENJOY THE CONVENIENCE OF ELECTRONIC GIVING Zion Lutheran Church wants to remind you that we offer electronic giving as a way to automate your regular weekly offering. Electronic giving offers convenience for individual congregation members and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis. Contributions will be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. As you contemplate future contributions, please consider electronic giving. Authorization forms are available from the church office or contact Janet Jung at [email protected] for more information.

ALTAR GUILD VOLUNTEERING The Altar Guild is in need of anyone who is interested in preparing communion or filling candles for the church services each week. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to help the Altar Guild, please contact Charles Klein with any questions you may have. Thank you!

SUNDAY MORNING ACOLYTES Is your child, in 4th grade or above, interested in being an acolyte on Sunday mornings during our 8:00 am or 11:00 am worship services? If so, we would love to have them participate in our acolyte program. Your child will acolyte no more than once a month. We schedule acolytes every 3 months, based on what dates your child is available. Please contact Damian Arellano for more information: [email protected]

HEALTH TIP OF THE WEEK Work ergonomically. Your chair height, posture, and placement of your equipment all play a part in reducing strain on your body during the workday. Optimize your workspace so you are comfortable moving and using your computer, keyboard, mouse, and other equipment all throughout the day. Even though the movements you make at your desk are small, they are repetitive and can be injurious if you do not perform them correctly.
