BEEBE PUBLIC SCHOOLS INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES In the event of bad weather or hazardous conditions that originate over night, announcements regarding the closing of school will be communicated by 6:30 a.m. The following methods of communication will be used to inform students, parents, faculty, and staff of school closings: School Messenger (automated phone system), Beebe Public School web page, radio, and television. If the hazardous conditions are only temporary in the morning, then school may open one (1) hour later or at 9:00 a.m. Bus drivers will start their routes one (1) hour later. Some conditions may call for routes being adjusted to “SNOW AND ICE ROUTES” due to specific roads being worse than others. The routes will be published in the paper and may be found on the district web page. STUDENTS AND PARENTS SHOULD LISTEN TO THE RADIO OR WATCH TV. PLEASE DO NOT CALL SCHOOL EMPLOYEES REGARDING SCHOOL BEING OPEN. PROCEDURE FOR EARLY DISMISSAL DURING THE SCHOOL DAY: If it is necessary to dismiss school early due to weather changes, there will be at least a 45 minute warning to allow all the bus drivers and parents to prepare. All four methods of communication will be used to help inform parents of the early dismissal.

Flood Routes The following routes have roads that are prone to flooding. If there is an excessive amount of rain that makes the following roads impassable, then the children will need to pick up and dropped off at the following locations. Bus #31
Gillham Rd & Arthur Kirk Rd.: to be picked up or dropped off at the Baptist Church at Gilliam and Hwy 64.

Wagon Train: If this road floods, then the Bus #31 will pick up on the McRae side, and Bus #17 will pick up from Hwy #321 to the bridge.

Bill Hill Rd : Will pick up Hwy 64 at Opal Rd

Campbell: not at all, N. Vinity Rd.: not at all-to be picked up come to Garner.

Thurman Weir Road: If Thurman Weir floods, the driver will have to turn around and cut through on Crisco Road. Kirkland Rd: Will pick up at 16 section church

Old Nursery Lane off of Hwy 13: Pick up: Jackie Jackson’s House Coley Road: Pick up: Hwy 13

Sandy Ford Road off of El Paso Road: Pick up: Hwy 31 North in Antioch (if not flooded) Turkey Mountain Road: Pick Up: If the creek is flooded would not be able to pick up Turkey Mountain. If creek is flooded on both, Turkey Mountain and Sandy Ford then the bus would then come in on Brock Road to Turkey Mountain to Sandy Ford.

Revised February 6, 2018 Beebe Public Schools Snow and Ice Routes In preparation for the winter weather, the School district is initiating Snow and Ice routes for some of the buses. Announcements will be made in the traditional manner over local radio and television channels. Other adjustments may be made as needed. If a driver feels it is unsafe to travel a road, that road will not be traveled. Bus Route #31:
At the dead end Rd of Arthur Kirk Rd come to Gillham Rd. Vegas Lane will be picked up on Gilliam Rd.
Bus Route #65:
Cane Creek Rd. will be picked up on Hwy 267. Church Rd. Will be picked up and dropped at Hwy 305.
Bus Route #44:
Hammonds Chapel Rd., E. B. Quick Rd., Fox Den Rd., Turkey Mt. Rd., and Red Hill Rd., will be picked up on El Paso Rd.
Bus Route #45:
Gray Rd., Pine Mt. Rd. and Washburn Rd. will be picked up on Hwy. 305 and/or Hwy. 31. All drop off and pick-ups North of Hwy 31 & Hwy 305 Junction will be picked up @ Moose’s Country Store. This bus WILL NOT travel North of Moose’s Store!!!

Bull Creek Cove will be picked up on Louis Pruitt Rd. Liles Rd. and Old Schoolhouse Rd. will be picked up on Hwy.31 and/or Antioch Bypass.

Rocky Branch Rd., Andrews Ln., will be picked up on Blue Hole Rd.
Bus Route #49:
Cypress Bottoms Rd. come to Hwy 13 to be picked up. Cypress Lane: Pick up on Hwy 13 Kinley Rd: Meet at end of road on Hwy 13.

3rd Street in McRae will be picked up @ corner of North Grand Ave. and 3rd Street.
Bus Route #53:
