Kateryna Cooper Director of Gem of Champions Dance. She is originally from Ukraine. Her background experience started from Rhythmic Gymnastic which she did for 9 years since she was a little girl. Intense training developed great experience, flexibility and endurance that she transitioned into her dance. The next 7 years Kate was a member and the captain of the National Dance Team of Ukraine. She became a multi national champion, earned 9 gold medals in The European Championships and won 3 Gold Medals at The ICU World Championships in Pom and Jazz divisions. During that time Kate completed her education at The National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine with a Master's Degree in Bio Mechanics of Sport. Since then she became a certified judge of ICU (The World Governing Body of Cheerleading and Dance). She judged students in various countries including Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia, Singapore, France, Taiwan and Finland. She has been a dance teacher for all age groups from mini to senior levels including competitive and recreational students. She is a USASF certified coach. She is continually updating and expanding her knowledge from the many different conferences she attends yearly throughout the world. Kate now brings her experience to Gem of Champions and she is SO exited to launch our new Dance Program!
