Members present:
Jack, Lorie, Mike, Chris, Doug, Gabe, Mary
Jack started the meeting indicating that he was looking at resigning but with Dave’s resignation Jack said he would stay on to get someone ready to be president. The board needs someone to step into both the president and vice president – either current board members or from the community. Karla Montoy – name was presented as a member at large – she is willing to disagree and is not afraid to do work – possible tournament Steve Tillson – qualified coach – could have similar conflicts as Dave has Charles Dodge Dave’s program is no longer associated with the indoor facility – Boomer Academy Chris Brady indicated that he would consider being vice president and step into President in a year or so At last year’s general meeting we missed voting in October –This fall everyone will be revoted in – half will be for 1 year, the rest for 2 years. On 11-7-11 the following positions were voted in Vice president (Jack), Secretary (Mary),Direct of Referee (Doug), Member at large (Chris). So voting will be as follows: two year terms will be for VP, Secretary, Direct.of Referee, Member at large; one year terms for President, Treasurer, Director of Coaching, Public Relations, member at large Voting positions are President, Vice Pres, Sec, Treas, Dir of Coach, Dir of Refs, Pub Relations, 2 members at large. The Assist Dir of Coach and Registrar do not vote Possible candidates to come on to the board that were discussed were: Charles Dodge, Karla Montoy, Steve Tillson, Melissa Bixby, Kristy Euwer, Craig Fischer A motion was made by Doug to extend the term of board members that should have been voted in at the last general board meeting until the next General Board meeting in October a second by Lorie. All in favor. Motion made by Chris to move Jack to interium President, second by Doug – motion passed Motion made by Lorie to move Chris to VP, second by Doug Mike Schrage with Ambucks wants to visit with the club about a soccer tournament. Ambucks would help sponsor and they have 165 members that would be able to volunteer. Jack and Chris will meet with him at lunch to find out more about what they have in mind. Motion to adjourn by Doug, second by Lorie
