Pieces Make Profits : Scrabble MAKING SCRABBLE PENDANTS If you decide to create your own Scrabble pendants (or magnets) you can purchase EVERY SINGLE ONE of the items I describe below online from Amazon or eBay. All the screen shots shown are Amazon listings.
Carefully peel the clear square epoxy sticker off of its protective backing, being careful not to touch the sticky side. Place the sticker directly on top of the image you are using. Press firmly with your fingers to remove any air-bubbles and to help secure the adhesive bond. Cut out the image with the sticker on top - carefully cutting along the edge of the sticker, making sure not to cut the sticker itself. Spread glue (white crafter’s glue works fine) on the backside of the cut out image/sticker. Center the image/sticker glue side down onto the non-letter side of the Scrabble tile. Make SURE you check the orientation of the letter on the back to ensure it's facing the right direction! Press into place and let dry. If you wish to add the epoxy sticker directly to the Scrabble tile, omit the image and crafter’s glue, and carefully place the clear epoxy sticker directly onto the front/letter side of your desired Scrabble tile. Just as an FYI, Scrabble tiles measure 5/8” x 3/4” / 18.5 x 20.4 mm. You can easily add a glue-on bail such as an Aanraku bail to the back of the pendant once the front side is dry. You could also glue a super strong neodymium / rare earth magnet onto the back instead. I recommend you use E6000 industrial strength adhesive to adhere the bail or magnet. This is a GREAT adhesive that works on ANYTHING!
When complete, for the pendant, add a ball chain or other fine chain and you have an easy product to sell! As you’ve seen in this guide, this simple upcycle adds a TON of perceived value to your lonely little Scrabble tile!
