Overview/Background Information: TRUK’T LLC, % Hendricks Commercial Properties LLC, is making application to establish a business to be located at 443 E. Grand Avenue, and is applying for a Class “B” Beer and “Class B” Liquor License for the license period ending June 30, 2018. Key Issues (maximum of 5): 1. TRUK’T LLC, % Hendricks Commercial Properties LLC, is opening a business in the location formerly known as Inked Sports Bar, and is requesting approval of a Class “B” Beer and “Class B” Liquor License for the license period ending June 30, 2018. 2. A complete application with fees has been submitted to the Clerk’s office and is being referred to th the ABLCC for their January 9, 2018 agenda by the City Council on December 18 via the consent agenda. 3. The ABLCC will review the application to assure conformity with existing rules, regulations and zoning ordinances of the city and state and will make a recommendation to the Council based on their review. 4. This item will return to the City Council at the regular meeting on January 16, 2018 for action. Conformance to Strategic Plan (List key goals this action would support and briefly discuss its impact on the City’s mission.): Taking action regarding this license conforms to the City’s Strategic Plan by encouraging economic development in the entrepreneurial community while applying sound, sustainable practices to promote high quality development.
