Overview/Background Information: Coyotes of Rock Co., LLC, dba Coyotes Bar & Banquet, is making application to transfer ownership of the business in an already licensed business located at 107 Dearborn Street, and is applying for a Class “B” Beer and “Class B” Intoxicating Liquor License for the license period ending June 30, 2019 to transfer ownership from Dawn Porter to Armando Suarez. Key Issues: 1. Dawn Porter has been the sole owner/member of Coyotes of Rock Co., LLC (doing business as Coyotes Bar & Banquet) and has operated at 107 Dearborn Street. 2. Through a sales agreement effective January 1, 2019, she has sold the assets, including the registered trade name to Armando Suarez Raymundo. Brad Lawver intends to remain the agent and no other changes to the business plan were noted by the new owner. 3. The licensee is required to amend their license by an application when there are changes to the corporation/LLC to reflect the new owner/member and has submitted the proper paperwork and paid the proper fee. 4. The ABLCC will review the application to amend the license at their regular meeting on January 8, 2019. 5. This item will return to the City Council at the regular meeting on January 22, 2019 for action.
