Client: Enterprise Description: Carry out the jointing of all cables associated with the provision of 7 New Substations on the Metropolitan line. 3c 300mm² Raychem MXSW 3332-GB01, 3c240mm² Raychem MXSW-3331-GB02, single cores 500mm² Raychem MXAW-5151, 800mm². Value: £350k Duration: Dec 10 – onwards

Project: Marlborough Road SSR Power Supply Upgrade for new S7 rolling stock. Client: Enterprise Project: Neasden traction sub-station. SSR Power Supply Upgrade for new S7 rolling stock. Client: Enterprise Description: Install, test and pre-commission Neasden traction sub-station as part of SSR lot 1A power upgrade works. Works include Scada, HV (500mm² & 800mm²), 935mm² DC cables, as well as lighting, small power & 110v cabling.

Description: Fit out, test & commission of new build substation at Marlborough Road including DC, HV and LV switchgear. Value: £350k Duration: Sept 10 - Mar 11

Project: East London Line Project Contact: Balfour Beatty Carillion Joint Venture Description: M&E installation at East London Line Stations Shadwell, Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays, Wapping & Whitechapel as part of the Central section of the ELL. Value: £5.9m Duration: July 09 - Nov 10.

Project: Lilliebridge Depot DC Power Upgrade Client: TFL –LUL Nominee SSL Ltd Project: Framework Agreement 1508 Asset stabilisation T12 to T8 lamp Conversions Client: TFL, LUL Nominee BCV & SSL Ltd Emico Employed as Principal Contractor for Design & Install. Description: Under the TFL LUL Nominee BCV & SSL Ltd framework agreement – Emico have carried out the lamp conversions for 5 sites on BCV and SSL lines.

Project: Asset stabilisation Statutory Electrical Testing – Phase 2 (SET2)

The asset stabilisation was achieved by replacing the T12 lamp and control gear within the existing luminaire housing, (mainly Churchouse trunking) replacing the wiring and associated protective devices.

Emico Employed as Principal Contractor for Design & Install. Description: Provision of new DC traction supplies from the EDF Earls Court traction substation to Lillie Bridge Depot, Re-sectionalisation of the Depot DC traction system, Design and build of five Track Isolating Switches (TIS) to support re-sectionalisation, DC traction cabling and routing with modifications to conductor rail continuity cables, Reinforcement of Earthing and Bonding system, Traction Earth Fault Detection works. Value: £2.1M Duration: Dec 09 - Dec 10

Client: TFL , LUL Nominee SSL Ltd Emico Employed as Principal Contractor for Design & Install. Description: Under the TFL LUL Nominee SSL Ltd framework agreement –Emico have awarded the Electrical periodic testing of approximately 120 line side and remote buildings on BCV and SSL lines. Emico are providing a site specific report and certification to comply with the statutory regulations and standards. Value: £260k Duration: Aug 2010 - Nov 2010

Project: OPO Contract Contact: LUL Nominee SSL Ltd Description: First contract awarded to Emico by LUL Nominee SSL as part of the 3-year framework agreement for the supply of electrical equipment and services. Emico installed containment for the OPO contract at Croxley, Watford, Northwood, Northwood Hills and Moor Park. Value: £150k Duration: May – Sept 2009.

Project: LUL Digital Advertising Client: CBS Outdoor Description: Power & data cabling and containment for Traditional signage at stations throughout the network Upgrade and refurbish Digital Escalator panels at 15 No stations. Cross Track Projectors- install power, data and fibe cabling together with containment at various LUL stations. Value: £1.2m Duration: July – Dec 09

Project: Tonbridge Seasonal Depot

Description: Design and Installation of mechanical and electrical services at New Cross Gate Depot. The project consists of a Maintenance Facility Shed (4 Roads), Wheel Lathe & Heavy Cleaning Shed (2 roads) and a Carriage Wash Shed. Services include DC Shore Supplies as well as all M&E Services.

Project: Burnt Oak LUL Station Refurbishment. Client: YJLI/ Meica Description: Complete Station modernisation & enhancment programme incorporating - electrical; plumbing; air conditioning and comfort cooling refurbishment of the station. Value: £1m Duration: April 04 – Jan 05

Project: CTRL Sub Station C104H Client: Mowlem Engineering Power Project: Tufnell Park LUL Station Refurbishment Client: YJLI/ Meica Description: Complete electrical; plumbing; air conditioning and comfort cooling refurbishment of upper and lower station. The successful excution of this project meant that Tufnell Park was the first station formally handed back to LUL by Tubelines.

Description: Complete fit out of a dual feed 11kV to 400V substation to supply the local points heating and signalling supplies. Main 400V LV Panel, .Small power distribution boards, Lighting, Fire alarm, UPS (signalling supplies), SCADA cabling and marshalling panel. Project: Morden Station Upgrade Client: YJLI/ Meica Description: Morden SMEP comprised of the provision of new electrical and mechanical services as well as modifications to the existing. All switch rooms were upgraded and new multicompartment cable containment and lighting was provided and installed throughout the Ticket Hall. Second phase to the project was the Step Free Access which provides a new footbridge and 2 No MIP lifts. Emico provided all services associated with the lifts and new lighting and power to the Overbridge and all other areas affected by the SFA project. Value: £3.2m Duration: Jan 05 – Sept 07

Project: CTRL St Pancras C104F Project: CTRL Trackside C104H Client: Mowlem Engineering Power Description: Installation and test of 3 points heating control kiosks feeding 13 sets of points heating. Installation and test 3 track side distribution pillars feeding 15 track side 230/110V supplies. Value: £377k Duration: March 04 – June 04

Client: Mowlem Railways Description: Installation and test of 2 points heating control kiosks feeding 12 sets of points. Installation of 3 sets of buffer stop lights Installation of platform lighting and platform lighting control panel. Value: £636k Duration: March 02 – Dec 02

Project: Waterloo Roof Refurbishment Client: Meica / Amec Rail Description: Installation of platform columns, canopy lighting systems, PA/VA and Fire alarm systems to platforms 1 to 19 All works routed via platform inverts using confined space operatives and associated safety equipment. Upgrade of sub-mains distribution and DB’s, Installation of pulse clocks circuitry etc. Value: £1.35m Duration: March 01 - April 03

Project: Victoria station – Connex gating project Client: Wates Rail, Description: Installation of LV switchgear & sub-mains, installation of main containment and cabling for new ticket gates and 68No CCTV cameras, lighting and small power. Diversion of the 3inch water main and installation of 5 metered gas and water supplies. Enabling and upgrade of 5 No Retail units at the concourse end. Value: £180k Duration: Sept 01 - Mar 02

Project: Wembley Depot

Client: Fitzpatrick Contractors Description: The following 33kV oil filled feeders were upgraded to 3 x 300mm² XLPE singles with new pilot cables. Feeder 2050 (3 x 2100m), Feeder 2051 (3 x 700m) Modify oil filled switchgear to terminate XLPE singles. Upgrade protection from Solkor to Translay and re-commission. All oil filled cable / equipment recovered and recycled. Approx 6500m of new trough was installed in the depot yard of traction supplies and comms. The HV cable routes were refurbished (concrete trough) where possible or replaced with C1/9 trough. Value: £1.3m Duration: March 02 – July 03

Client: ABB Rail / Balfour Beatty Description: Monorail and train wash supply. Installation of containment and sub-mains cabling. New switchgear in respective Switchrooms. Value: £129k Duration: Dec 00 - May 01

Project: White City LUL Client: Multiplex/ Mott Green Wall Description: Hand trace; label and produce CAD drawings for all cables between White City and Shepherds Bush Stations. A full dilapidation survey and signalling cover was provided for the duration of the project. Value: £635k Duration: Oct 03 – Oct 04
