Two PTS applicators were employed for the deposition of the hull coating. An IR (FLIR) camera was used to monitor the temperature.

Boat-Hull Deposition Case Study Repair of large dents
A dent was detected on the keel of the boat. An area around the dent was delimited and the paint was sanded off; next the area was primed.
The PTS coating material deposited on one half of the dent. The other half was intentionally left uncoated to highlight the size of the dent. At the deepest point in the dent the deposited PTS material reached a thickness of 1.25in.
