PWSI teams produced great results for the the club over Columbus Day Weekend with 9 Champions, 4 Runners-up, and 2 semi-finalists in Beach FC Columbus Day, Williamsburg Columbus Day, and the WAGS Showcase!
Boys invited to US National Training Center 2002 ,2003, 2004, & 2005 former PWSI Courage players have been invited to the Boys US Soccer National Training Center. Former PWSI players and current VDA players Sebastian Falsone, Luke Farber (both 02), Andres Rodriguez, Corey Taylor (both 03), Jackson Hopkins (04), and Santiago Parada (05) will be in attendance at the National Training Center. Congratulations Boys!
Courage 01 Red & 02 Red Advance to the VYSA President's Cup Semi Final! Coach Tim Tryon has lead both of his, 2001 Red Boys and 2002 Red Boys to the VYSA President's Cup Final 4! The 2001 Red will face VA Legacy Wizards Green and the 2002 Red will face off against Arlington White. Good Luck Boys! For more information on VYSA Presidents Cup or game schedules click here.
Player In Focus Blaise Liess II - Courage 2003 NPL Blaise joined PWSI in 2013 playing with Coach Kurt Farber on the 2002 Gold team (4th team), since then Blaise has climbed his way up the ranks at PWSI. He moved on from the 02 Gold team to the 02 Black team and then the 02 White team with Coach Tom Hastings. US Soccer changed the age groups in 2016 and that is when Blaise moved into the 2003 NPL team coached by Tim Lucas. Over the past two seasons with Coach Lucas, Blaise has really come into his own as a player through his hard work and dedication he was named as a Developmental Player with the 2003 VDA team. Blaise has helped his 2003 NPL team to the top of the 15U table in the Virginia Premier League while also training with VDA. Coach Tim Lucas said this about Blaise - "It has been fun seeing Blaise grow over the past 2 years. I see more success for him at the DA level." Coach Kurt Farber said of Blaise - "Blaise demonstrated a strong commitment to improvement early in his Courage career. He continues to improve his technical skill and understanding of the game which results in the ability to make an impact on the field."
Courage Recreational Spotlight
Recreational All-Star Teams are forming now. They will play a tournament on November 18-19 and teams are forming now. You must be a current Courage Recreational Player in order to qualify. Registration is $45 on PWSI.org and ends the first week of November!
Courage Winter Futsal registration opens on Dec 1 and is $75. Games begin on January 20 and end March 8. There are game on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesdays and Thursday. Go to www.pwsi.org for more information The Fall 2017 Recreational Soccer in pictures
Courage Development Program (CDP) and Courage Cubs were joined from VDA and PWSI players to help them out!
TOPSoccer Began Oct 14th
We are excited to announce that this year's TOPSoccer Training will take place at Howison Park! The program started on Saturday, October 14 at 8:00 AM. To register as a TOPSoccer player you can go to www.pwsi.org and login or create an account to register. TOPsoccer ("The Outreach Program") is the official United States Youth Soccer (USYS) program offered in affiliation with Prince William Soccer, Inc. to any child between the ages 4 1/2 to 18 with physical and/or mental disabilities. This program is designed to get these young athletes off the sidelines and onto the playing field.

PWSI would like to introduce the 2017-2018 Courage Classic Program Coaching Staff to everyone. The Classic Program is designed to offer players 9U-19U the opportunity to play travel soccer. Coach in Focus - Jeff Jones Director of Coaching Quan Phan said of Jones - Coach Jeff Jones is always the first to arrive and the last to leave. His passion for helping young players strive to be the best that they can be is seen in his animated exuberance coupled with direct vocal instruction on field every day. His dedication to the development of the young players is evident in the teams' success and individual players' mastery of the ball. Most importantly, he instills a love for soccer in ALL of the players he has worked with.
