Fall 2017 Seasons In Review: 2007 Boys Red - Coach Reid McKee - finished NCSL play with a 7-2-0 record, 49 goals for and 14 goals against!
2007 Girls Pride - Soccer Sisters - Coach Chris Pettyjohn - finished in First
place in ODSL with a record of 8-0-0, 50 goals for and 2 goals against! Throughout the season they also won the DMV Premier Cup and every player on the team scored a goal!
2004 Girls Classic Coach Clint Mitchell - Finished as the ODSL Division 2 Champions with only 1 goal against! The girls were also finalists in the Williamsburg Columbus Day Tournament!
2007 Boys White Coach Luis Guevera said of his team - The boys had a great season filled with ups and downs but overall they had a lot great learning experiences. Finalist in both of our tournament appearances, lost one in a penalty shootout. Our regular season we competed against a variety of talents which helped to push the boys and got them out their comfort zones, season ended 3-5-1. Definitely saw some players confidence grow and come to light about 3 game into season which lifted team confidence. Team started playing more collectively with more games and probably reason why boys reached their tournament final. Holding each other accountable and trying to fix their owns problems. Intensity picked up with different learning games that encourage scoring and defending.
2003 Boys NPL - Coach Tim Lucas - 03B NPL team claimed Division Champs
with an undefeated season 10-0-1 earning an automatic bid to EPNL Nationals in July 2018. The boys also won the DMV U15 Showcase to start off the season. The team also finished at the top of their group in the Elite bracket of the NCFC Showcase!
2008 Girls Pride - Coach Chris Coleman - team manager Carolyn Fahey said of the team - The Girls 08 Courage Pride finished 5th in our division out of 10. We won 5 and lost 4. As it was the first year that our team was together in this travel division, they did really terrific with the new challenges presented to them. We saw them work together better as a team as the season went on in response to the more challenging level of play. They were the crowned champions of the 2017 Hunt Country Classic!
2001 Girls NPL - Coach Janice Johnson said of the team- The 01G NPL is starting to play with a purpose. They used to have a tendency to attempt to keep possession instead of looking for the killer pass. Now, they're attempting to break lines early, and often to get to goal. Additionally, Destiny (GK) has improved a lot in both her kicking game, communication, and overall ability to make saves. Grace Harwood is training with the 01 DA. 2006 Girls Red - Coach Janice Johnson - The 06G Red won the DMV Premier Cup, Beating VSA 1-0 in regular time. All of the 06G Red started to secure the ball and relax when under pressure. Its still a growing spot, but the ability for this group to break initial pressure of a goal-kick is our biggest improvement of the year. Three players are training with the 06G NPL on a regular basis. 2008 Boys Pride - Coach Marlon Duran For their first season as a travel team the boys managed to have an 8-0 record through ODSL league. They played in the Columbia Fall Classic in Crownsville, MD and the boys did well and won the championship for the age division.
2004 Boys Pride - Coach Fred Rodriguez - The team won the NVSC Mid County Fall Classic tournament. Our first tournament as a new team. They won all their games. The team also finished in 2nd place in ODSL Division 2.
2004 Boys Classic - Coach Nery Duran - the 2004 Classic boys won ODSL division 2 with a record of 9-0-0. They also won DMV Premier Cup and Beach
FC Columbus Day tournaments!

Coach in Focus - Tim Tryon - 2001 Red and 2002 Red Director of Coaching Quan Phan said of Tryon - Tim Tryon has been a major asset to PWSI since joining the coaching staff in December 2016. His ability to connect with his players on and off the field has been evident with the successes of his teams. His work on the technical and tactical sides of the game have been impactful for both the '02B Red and '01B Red, who both reached the President's Cup Semi-Finals and finished the year very well in NCSL.
