Do you know how different subjects are being assessed using GCSE grades rather than levels? Do you know the key strengths and improvement points from your child’s most recent assessment?
It is my pleasure to invite you and your child to a Year 7 Parents Evening on Thursday 10th May 2018 4.30pm-7.00pm in the Sports Hall. This is an important evening for you to discuss your child’s progress. All students who attend with a parent or carer will receive Epraise points. Please put this date in your diary and I look forward to seeing you then. If you are unable to attend but would like feedback from your child’s subject teacher please fill in the attached slip and return it to the school’s main reception. We have an online appointment booking system. Please visit https://courtfields.parentseveningsystem.co.uk to book your appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is included with this letter.) To login please ensure that: You use your child’s legal forename that matches our records (no abbreviations) The date of birth is entered in exactly the right format e.g. using four digits for the year of birth - 26/11/2005 To avoid over-running on the night it is important that staff and parents adhere to the five minute slots. If parents require a longer discussion then it is appropriate that a separate appointment is arranged.
