"The illustration universe is a place where people materialize what they think. Illustrators are in charge of creating images that someone else will understand. We belong to the Magicians kind, because we wisely transform the shape, light and color of the world, and I truly believe it is a gift"

"What has mostly inspired us —and we think it has much influence in our creative process— is surrealism. The stories we create come from our inner world, a dream world. And we have discovered that collage is the natural way to access this world. When you enter this magical realm, you don't know what's going to be like, what ideas are you going to find. You just need to be ready to collect all kinds of treasures." 18

"I believe in Appropriation as a legitimate way to achieve any visual communication endeavor. Today's culture is a messy map full of subtexts and pop references. It would be a shame to waste all these data and visual information. Besides, I was never good at drawing"
