XCELtracker – Asset Tracking, Inventory and Maintenance Management Solution XCELtracker is a simple, easy to use and powerful Asset Tracking, Inventory and Maintenance Management solution that can be used in all enterprises. This solution comes with standard modules and a set of optional modules and customers can choose the options depending on their needs. XCELtracker is used to track Condition, Movement, Inventory and Accountability of Assets that are RFID tagged and/or identified with bar code labels. The system can handle assets that are owned by the client as well as the ones that are leased in. Financial Depreciation can be applied and clients can keep track of the “real value” of the assets and their net worth. This solution is fully scalable and can be easily customized to meet specific customer requirements. The system can be used to track assets that are present in just one facility as well as assets that are stored at multiple locations. XCELtracker supports functions listed below. Salient features of XCELtracker Easy to use, Flexible and Highly Scalable Supports Windows Mobile devices and Smart Phones (Nokia, BlackBerry and Android). Mobile computers and Smart Phones can communicate with the server using WLAN (IEEE 802.11a/b/g) and WWAN networks (CDMA, GPRS, EDGE, EvDO and HSDPA). System can keep track of Asset Status, Movement, Ownership, Inventory and Maintenance info. System can automatically apply depreciation on assets value and calculate the net worth of the assets at any point of time. Inventory Cycle Counting and Inventory Verification features available. System can detect Missing Assets and Misplaced Assets at any Location or Sub-locations. By comparing the maintenance expenses and net worth of the assets, Customers can make better management decisions to decide if an asset has to be disposed and a new asset could be purchased or leased.
Multiple Locations, Departments, Asset types can be configured. For each location, multiple sub-locations can be configured. Visibility and access of Asset data can be restricted depending on the user’s location and department.
Tracking of Assets supported from cradle to grave. Comprehensive features available for performing Asset Inspection and Maintenance.
Assets can be tagged with Barcode Labels and /or RFID tags. Mobile computers with integrated bar code scanners / RFID readers can be used. Otherwise bluetooth enabled barcode and RFID readers can be used with the Mobile computers and Smart Phones.
Every activity/transaction is logged with the User ID and date/time stamps. Powerful audit trail features supported.
Asset Tracking and Maintenance operations can be performed using the mobile application running on Windows Mobile devices and Smart Phones (Nokia, BlackBerry and Android).
System has many standard built-in reports. Custom reports can be easily developed.
Using normal cell phones SMS messages can be sent to the system for recording the current asset status / condition as well as retrieving the asset status and properties. Can be integrated with ERP Systems like SAP R/3, Oracle, Microsoft and other providers.

System works in ONLINE and OFFLINE modes. In ONLINE mode, data updates will take place in real time (if server connectivity is available). In OFFLINE mode (when server connectivity is not available), data will be stored in local Database of the device and then automatically updated to the server as soon as server connectivity is available. Server application of XCELtracker is Java/J2EE based and it can be deployed on servers running OS like Windows 2003, Linux and IBM AIX. J2EE Application Servers such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle, WebLogic and JBOSS are supported.
