Home games at Breese Stevens Field unless noted (MC) - Madison College, Madison (EHS) - Edgewood High School, Madison (O) - Oregon High School, Oregon

The Edgewood College men’s soccer had been scoring goals in bunches over the past two weeks, but Concordia University Wisconsin figured out how to cool off the Eagles on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons scored two goals in the first half and hung on for a 3-1 victory at Fitting Field. Eagle goalkeeper Dan Dombrowski made 11 saves in the loss. After an early second half goal put the Eagles in a 3-0 hole, Sean Surtees scored the only goal of the game for the Eagles in the 88th minute. A pair of penalty kick scores by Henry Simon and Garrett Lee’s ninth goal of the season made things interesting, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 4-1 deficit against Benedictine in a 5-3 defeat on Saturday afternoon. As he always does, Lee came up with his team-leading ninth score of the season off an assist by Luke Miller on a broken play in the 75th. Edgewood College trailed just 4-3 after Simon’s second goal just a few minutes later in the 82nd. A last minute tally by Benedictine sealed the deal as Edgewood College dropped their second-straight match on the road. Simon tied a match-high with eight toal shots and helped score three goals against one of the best goalkeepers in the conference.
