EMPLOYABILITY

CATAPULT EMPLOYABILITY PLATFORM Finding an internship or a full-time position is a tough task that requires access to employers, networking opportunities and great presentation of one’s skills. Catapult provides a career marketplace, providing Laureate students with access to the opportunities they need to find their dream job / internship. Catapult enables institutions to offer a platform where employers can post job opportunities. Universities can actively manage these opportunities and screen them for relevance and quality. Laureate institutions can manage the employability workflow, integrating the supply/demand activities and assessment of students and companies and certifying activities, enabling students to find opportunities abroad and build their internationality.

FEATURES • An online service that organizes and facilitates the matchmaking exercise between students and employers for internship and full-time job opportunities. • Algorithms that match students skills/experience/GPA and LPA scores, with employers requirements. • Algorithms that enable the system to recommend candidates to employers (résumé books) and opportunities to students, based on specific skills/requirements. • Social networking functionalities that enable students to access the wisdom of their peers, alumni and employers through virtual job fairs, forums, Q&A, recommendations (“students with similar profile also liked”). BENEFITS • Students find opportunities more easily and materialize their dreams. • Institutions increase the loyalty of employers. • Outcomes improve and set institutions apart.

"Those tools provide an incredibly strong platform for us to recruit college students and recent graduates that we otherwise would have a difficult time reaching."

Camille Gatenby SanDisk's Director of Talent Acquisition

“A complicated, multiple-page application form isn’t going to cut it anymore. For Millennials (and anyone else, really), the process should be easy and frictionless.” Harvard Business Review
