EXPRESS youR SElfiE! Strictly ’s Neil Jones spills the beans on what happened at Ed Balls’ birthday party…

f there’s one event we’d love to have been a fly on the wall at, it’s Ed Balls’ 50th birthday party. Sadly, however, our invite must have got lost in the post. So we’re thrilled to see Strictly pro dancer neil Jones attended the bash and is keen to share all the gossip, including why Corrie star Katie McGlynn was there when she and Giovanni Pernice are meant to be “just friends”… hi Neil! What’s going on in this selfie? We can see daisy Lowe, Ore Oduba, Kevin Clifton, Giovanni Pernice, AJ Pritchard and Oti Mabuse, to name but a few... This was at the end of the night, after Ed’s birthday party. It was amazing, out of this world. I think it was one of the best birthday parties I’ve ever been to in my life. Why was it so good? It was such a mixture of people, so you had people from his political side, his close friends and family and then so many people from Strictly! Everyone was having so much fun. games room, so we played table tennis. He had a few members from the Strictly band playing and Ed was playing the drums. We spotted Katie McGlynn in the selfie. Why was she there? It’s funny because I had no idea who she was. So when we were all getting in the lift and we took the picture, I remember turning around to aJ and saying, “Who’s that?” It wasn’t until I tweeted something that somebody said her name, so I looked her up before I posted it and then everybody was saying, “are they together, her and Giovanni?” But I really have no idea. If I ask Giovanni, he still says the same as he says all the time. He says, “nothing to do with me.”
