Fall 2017 Registration Registration for the Fall 2017 semester begins on Monday, March 20 at 9:00am. Course information is available in LOCUS. Additional registration information will be available March 13 for students to view on the web at: http://luc.edu/law/academics/registrar/registrationinfoandtools/. Students should check the Course Schedule and Final Exam Schedule for updates and changes before enrolling in courses. The Registration Schedule is listed below. Searching for Course Listings In order to view ALL of the law courses that are being offered each term, you must remove the default value in the Course Career on the Class Search. The Class Search Criteria has a field called Course Career which defaults to the student’s Academic Career. Clear this field by selecting the blank space on the drop down value. All classes will be displayed on Class Search results. Exam Scheduling Reminder Check the examination schedule before you register. Do not register for courses with final exams that are scheduled at the same time. No accommodations will be made for students who register for courses with final exams that conflict. Course Load Requirements Full-time students may not take less than 12 hours or more than 17 hours per semester. Part-time students may not take less than 8 hours or more than 12 hours per semester. Required Courses Students must complete at least two credits of a Perspective Elective (Per Elec), Skills, and SIX credits of Experiential Learning, only three of which can be completed through a Comprehensive Simulation. Students who are in the bottom 15 percent of their class after their second, third, or fourth semester of law school will be required to complete two credits in a designated “Bar Skills” course in order to graduate.
