WEEKEND RECAP Jesus taught us to call God “Heavenly Father.” Why would He do this? Jesus wants you to know that God LOVES you and CARES about you! God is strong, protective, loving and nurturing. He is going to do anything He can to keep you safe. You know how a storm can be scary, but when someone is with you things just seem better? The storm is still coming, but you aren’t alone. In the same way, whatever you are facing that seems scary, remember that you are not alone...God is with you!
