About our speaker... THOR MADSEN grew up in Central California and received Christ at age
12. He graduated from Wheaton College (BA), Western Kentucky University (MA), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv) and the University of Aberdeen, Scotland (PhD, New Testament). He was hired at Midwestern in 1999 and has served as Academic Dean, Dean of the College, and is currently Dean of Graduate Studies, Director of PhD programs, and Professor of New Testament, Ethics, and Philosophy. He has been married to Li for 25 years and has two sons, Paul and Timothy, both age 22. He gets his unusual name from his paternal grandfather, T. B. Madsen, who came to the United States from Norway in the early 1900s. FBBC is proud to partner with the St. Joseph Baptist Association, Missouri Baptist Convention, & Southern Baptist Convention.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY STARTING
IN SYMPATHY
Come learn with the Tuesday Night Women's Bible Study Group truths from Genesis 24-50 about how God can guide our faith, helping us see His purposes in our lives and how to rise above difficulties and painful (even unfair) situations in our lives by trusting Him. We would love to have you join us from 6:30 -8:30 PM (beginning February 20, 2018) for a 16-week inductive study. We will be going through the Precept Ministries' studies of Genesis, Part 4 and Part 5, looking at the lives of Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. The approximate cost to purchase both books for this study will be $21. Please contact Beth Arnold for more information about the study or to sign up for the study and to order your books.
