Loyalty, what is loyalty? ……...A dedication……...A commitment…..A devotion promise to go the extra mile...To make sure that the one receives such a determined act from another…..Is always at a state of being pleased…..Loyalty is swallowing all of your pride and putting all of your wants to the side...Showing someone or something else that no matter where it takes you….You’re down for the ride….Til the wheels fall off is taking all the scrutiny the world can dish out and still keeping your head forward and eyes on the prize...Even when you barely can see what’s right in front of you...Imagine travelling blind and not knowing if your mark is hit but never the less your loyal soul makes you proceed….Or when someone else’s needs or wants, spoil your plans and all that you wanted to ….Yet a delightful smile and their last is all that’s given…..Loyalty is putting yourself on the frontline….Even when the battle doesn't have to exist….and ready to die if faced with adversary impending of any type….I read about a great love and such a loyalty...it was a great truth about a man who tried to save the people whom he loved so much….so much that he allowed that same multitude of doors to a kingdom of eternity….what a love. What a sacrifice...What a colossal display of loyalty...It was loyalty that always made sure I was never hungry. A loyalty that pedestaled me and showed me that no matter what, no man was above me...that loyalty is the one that can’t be given by no other...From the tying of the shoe, to comforting quotes like “Lil Bro, I got you”’ to the nights we spent talking about everything...The best loyalty I know ….is a brotherly love…. Carlos Lavon Walls Mr. Carlos Lavon Walls peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System– Kings Mountain. He was born December 25,1972 in Cleveland County to Dorothy Proctor Jennings and the late James Eddie Walls. Carlos graduated from Crest Senior High School in 1992. He worked for over 15 years with Hoskins Sanding and Flooring Company in Shelby, NC. Although he had many talents and was very passionate about each of them, he loved working with hardwood floors. Carlos will always be remembered as being a very loving and humble person, who would go above and beyond to assist his family. Carlos was preceded in death, in addition to his father, James Walls, by his grandparents, Arthur and Nellie Proctor, Eddie and Dorothy Walls and a sister, Tracy Walls. Carlos leaves to cherish fond memories, his mother, Dorothy Proctor Jennings; a stepfather, Lester Jennings; his brother, Steven “Chief” Proctor, daughter, Trevonda Degree; nieces, Samone Proctor, Jade Proctor, Kierra Proctor; nephews, Xavier Proctor, Steven Proctor, Jr., Hershel Proctor of Shelby, NC, Arthur Proctor of Memphis, TN, Samuel Proctor( Sherrie), Reginald Proctor, Alvin Lockhart( Treni), Terry Walls( Sheila), Isaiah Walls, Thomas Walls, all of Shelby, NC; aunts, Melinda Mastroni( Greg), Frances Proctor, Kay Walls, all of Shelby, NC; a special friend, Donna Naje and a hosts of relatives and friends.
