Jesus gives us goodness and mercy when we feel we have nothing to offer. Getting Started • What has been the most interesting thing you have learned about sheep during this series? Discuss 1. Read Psalm 23. 2. Read verse 6. What follows us all the days of our lives? 3. Considering the behavior of sheep and people, why would David use the word “follow/ pursue?” 4. Where does David say his dwelling place will be? What benefits are there to dwelling in someone’s home? 5. When have you felt in your life that you had nothing to offer? 6. Tell one way in which Christ has taken nothingness in your life and shown you goodness and mercy. 7. Tell one way in which Christ has taken nothingness in your life and used it to show goodness and mercy to others. 8. In what way are you currently dwelling in the house of the Lord? Prayer Lord Jesus, you are the good shepherd. Your goodness and mercy pursues us, and we dwell in your house forever!
