7th - 8th - 9th Grade Boys Hustle “Intermediate” Program
GRADES: 7, 8, & 9 http://www.centervillehustle.org Mission Statement: The 7th, 8th and 9th grade Hustle “Intermediate” program’s goal is to bridge the gap that exists in area basketball program offerings between the middle school and freshman program and other area programs. The program is designed for the boys who either do not make or do not try out for the middle school and freshman teams, but who still want to play basketball; to continue to learn the sport and have fun with the game. Format: This is an “in-house” league with one practice and one game per week on average. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first served basis and space is limited. Practice will begin early December; an 8-10 game season will begin in January and will end mid-March with an end of season tournament. Grades may be combined or split depending on the number of registrations in each grade. This program has been very well received since its inception and we hope to build on that success. Our goal is to make this the best possible experience that we can for as many boys as possible. We need parent volunteers to coach and administrate! Coaches will be allowed to choose 1 assistant coach and up to 4 players. We are sometimes limited in the number of teams that we can form because of a lack of coaches, so please consider volunteering!!! Fees: $150 registration fee (covers uniforms, gym fees, referee costs, equipment, etc…) $10 early bird discount if you register by November 14 $25 multi-player discount for other siblings in Intermediate program There will be a $20 late fee for registrations after November 27. Payments are now made on the website. Registrations will not be accepted after December 9.
