Greenwin Making Headlines
2013 saw Team Greenwin featured in a number of respected publications, including our very own superstar CEO Kris Boyce on the cover of Canadian Apartment Magazine's Women of Influence issue. Kris and Greenwin were also featured in various articles in Rental Housing Business magazine and FE Magazine. In the fall, The Toronto Star profiled our work in transforming The Oaks into a vibrant neighbourhood - it was an inspiring piece that shows the power of community and positivity!
Greenwin Wins Taking Home the Hardware
at the MAC Awards In December, Team Greenwin was honoured with two trophies at the FRPO MAC Awards - Outstanding Curb Appeal (30 Carabob) and Leasing Agent of the Year (Floyd Taylor). We were also thrilled to receive nominations in the Social Media and Branding (125 Wellington) categories. We are so proud of everyone in the Greenwin family for their hard work all year long that contributed to these awards!

Greenwin Celebrates
Team Greenwin Knows How to Party! Last year brought us several opportunities to get together with the Greenwin family and celebrate our successes. Our annual summer boat cruise took place on the tall ship Kajama where we also celebrated Kris' birthday with an impromptu rendition of "Happy Birthday". In October, Greenwin itself reached a big milestone - 65 years of building great communities in Canada! We took the opportunity to celebrate this achievement with our closest friends and family.
Feting our own Cary Green with Chabad Lubavitch November saw an amazing recognition bestowed on Greenwin's very own Cary Green - he was honoured at Chabad Lubavitch's 35th Annual Dinner. Cary was celebrated for his commitment to giving back to the community through a number of wonderful initiatives, as well as his social consciousness that is steeped in family. Congratulations once again to Cary for inspiring us!

Greenwin Cares sickkids
icewave & heatwave volleyball tourna me nts
2013 found Team Greenwin coming out in full force to support SickKids not once, but twice! In February, we rocked the indoor volleyball courts to raise funds for SickKids during the Icewave tournament. When the weather turned decidedly warmer, we hit the beach to take part in the SickKids Heatwave tournament. These are some of our favourite events each year and we are looking forward to taking part again in 2014.

Getting Involved
in our community Team Greenwin was proud to sponsor a number of amazing events and initiatives in 2013, including the rockin' Isrock Festival in April that was put on by our friends at Motek Cultural Initiative and the Spider Jones Fight for Youth Boxing Championship in November. Among the other amazing events that the Greenwin family sponsored or took part in were for great organizations like the Israel Tennis Centre & ORA, Scadding Court Community Centre, Enbridge's Ride to Conquer Cancer, the Scott Mission, Neighbours Night Out, San Romanoway Revitilization Association, Thorncliffe Park Tenant's Association, Doorsteps' Annual Masquerade Ball, Valley Park Go Green Cricket Field, Kehilla Residential Programme, and Spin Master Caring & Sharing. 2013 also saw the launch of our First Annual Charity Golf Classic. This event, benefitting the ITC and ORA, proved immensely successful and even featured a special appearance from World Series hero Joe Carter. Get those golf clubs shined up for the 2014 edition! Finally, one of our favourite moments of the year was when our own Kevin Green and Brian Turpin donned the shoes and wigs to clown it up as Celebrity Clowns in the 2013 Santa Claus Parade! When did you start working with Greenwin? I started with Green Realty in 1997. What is your current role? Executive Assistant to the President, Kevin Green.

How have you evolved within the company? I started as administrator for Green Realty, then administrator for Verdiroc. I've assisted Verdiroc Marketing and have held the title of Office Manager of Verdiroc. What do you do when you start feeling overwhelmed on the job? Cry like a baby. Just kidding! I think about my kids. They always help me reboot my perspective.
Who is your dream date and why? Oprah Winfrey. I admire her immensely. She is woman who has never forgotten her roots and has withstood criticism about her body in an industry that is ruthless. She's helped empower girls and women and has been a role model for women around the world. If you could try out one role within the company that is completely different from yours, what would it be? IT. What do you like most about working at Greenwin? Hands down, the owners. I couldn’t ask for kinder, more generous and funny people to work for. I know I am extremely lucky.
What do you do to unwind at home? I love to cook. And a little wine during the process never hurts. If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do with the winnings? Ahhh. Just the thought takes me away. I would renovate my house. We need more space!
