APPLICATIONS AND INTERVIEWS: How to Apply: We begin accepting applications NOW. Your application will be reviewed and references checked (if you are a new applicant). Riding Instructors must submit a resume along with their application that documents and verifies training, credentials, and education. References (for new staff only): All new staff need to submit two references. References do not need to accompany your application, but should be submitted within two weeks of a completed application as to not hold up the hiring process. References need to be written by former employers, teachers, guidance counselors, advisors or any person who knows your experience and ability to interact with children. References need to describe your skills and talents relative to the job for which you are applying. The reference should use the Staff Reference Form located on the website. WORK DAY FOR CAMP: The regular day is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Staff are to report promptly to the barn and assist with morning arrival procedures at 8:45 a.m. and afternoon departure procedures at 3:15 p.m. Staff are dismissed at the end of the day when carpool is over. BENEFITS:  Camp employees are offered lunch daily.  Camp employees receive a free camp staff shirt.  Workman’s compensation covers accident or illness caused while on the job. OUR APPROACH, OUTLOOK AND PHILOSOPHY OF CAMP  We begin with RESPECT - for each child's unique strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, passions or fears.  We accept each child for who they are, not what we want them to be.  We help each child find the tools required to solve their own problems.  We are always willing to help even if it is not our job or responsibility.  We are enthusiastic and we are encouraging.  We plan with one another and support one another.  We assist each child to accept life's challenge and to give his/her best.
