HOW TO CONNECT EARTHING PRODUCTS

A. Insert your custom designed Earthing Adapter plug into your wall socket and leave the power off, no power needed. Note: If the switch is turned on it will make no difference to the use of your Earthing™ products as the plug is connecting to the earth wire only (third flat pin). There is no electricity being used. It is also OK to use our adapter plug with a power board or an extension lead.
B. Insert the metal pin from connector cord into either hole of your adapter plug which is plugged into your wall socket.

Connection Cord C. Attach the other end of the cord— the “Snap Connector” to the press stud of your Earthing™ Product. Your Earthing™ Product is now connected and ready to use. Lay, rest or drape it against your bare skin while you work, sleep or relax.
Always use as directed. Use only Earthing™ approved connecting cords with built-in internal safety features. For your safety, locate any connecting cords in such a way that it does not cause a tripping hazard.

When using the Earthing™ Adapter Plug you may wish to check that your power outlets, power boards and extension cords are wired correctly, before connecting your Earthing Products, with our Socket Tester. This is optional, unless included in a pack. Note: All Australian power points must be Earthed to comply with the Australian Standards, however, if in doubt for any reason please check your outlets before using Earthing Products through your power points.
The Socket Tester is an optional purchase, unless included in a Starter Kit. You can find them In Accessories “Testing Equipment” on our website www.BarefootHealing.com.au or page 15 of our catalogue.
A. Plug socket tester into the power point you will be using with your Earthing™ products and switch power ON to test. B. 3 Orange lights means everything is OK and you can now plug in your Earthing™ products. Switch off and remove after testing. C. If you do not see 3 orange lights, your outlet could be faulty OR Not Earthed and you should seek the advice of a licenced Electrician. D. Alternatively, if your power point is faulty you can use a Ground Rod, directly into the Earth. Ground rods can be found under our Accessories Tab on our website www.BarefootHealing.com.au, or page 15 in our catalogue. The Product Tester verifies that your Earthing Products are conductive. It does not verify that an Earth is present - see page 2. It is recommended to test your products regularly. 4 5
3 6 A. Firstly verify that the Product Tester itself is operational: Press button that says “press” (See 1) and release—the light (See 2) will flash green one time then goes off. Indicates tester is good. If no green light refer to point (D) below. B. Test the Product: Have Earthing Product connected to your power outlet with our adapter plug as previous instructions on page 1. Snap Coil Cord onto Product Tester, if not already assembled (See 3). Place the pin from other end of cord into the empty hole of the adapter plug. You should now have both products connected to the plug (See 4). Place the Tester on the conductive side of product, making sure that the back metal disk (See 5) is making good contact with the product. Press and hold “press” button (See 1). Green light “ON” indicates all is good and product is conductive. If no green light, check points C and D below first, otherwise your product may be faulty or its time for a replacement. C. Test Your Product Cords: Replace the coil cord already on the product tester with the cord to be tested. Touch the metal pin (See 6) of the testing cord to the back metal disk (See 5) of the tester. Hold down the “Press” button (See 1). A green light indicates that the cord is in good working order.
D. Replace Your Product Tester Battery: If the green light does not come on you may need to replace the battery by unscrewing the back panel and inserting a new CR2032 battery.

***CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS*** COTTON SHEETS: Your new Earthing sheets are made with a natural cotton and silver thread. Please follow the guidelines below for the best possible Earthing experience and to increase the longevity of the silver in your Earthing™ Products.
DO’s Do wash your sheet at least twice a month Do wash your sheet in a washing machine on a gentle cycle Do wash your sheet with WARM WATER between 40° - 60° Do use a mild liquid laundry detergent, such as Earth Choice Laundry Liquid NOT Concentrate or Eucalyptus. Do dry in sunshine or in a dryer on low heat or airing if needed.
It is good to wash your Earthing™ sheet, in fact it is beneficial. Washing in warm water strips body sweat and natural skin oils from the silver keeping it conductive

Don’t wash with bleach, whitening agents or oxi-detergents, including lemons. Don’t use Natural Detergents containing OILS like Eucalyptus, Wool Wash, Lavender, Coconut or Essential Oils. Don’t use liquid fabric softeners or dryer sheet fabric softeners. Don’t apply lotions or body oils before going to bed, allow about 2 hours prior to bed. Bleach, body lotions and oils can tarnish the silver thread rendering it non conductive. Fabric softener builds up on the silver and also ruins its conductive properties.
SILVER PILLOW COVER & UNDERLAY: Wash as above, however, depending upon covers will determine times to wash. It is best to wash silver products with a towel as it helps keep the shine of the silver. THROW & PLUSH PAD: Wash as above directions for bedding, however, depending upon usage wash when required. You may need to wash more often when using with pets. UNIVERSAL MAT, AUTO MAT , YOGA MAT & MASSAGE MAT: Use water and any mild soap to periodically clean mat or just wipe with a damp cloth. BODY BAND: & TUMMY BAND: Hand Wash with warm water and a mild detergent and air dry.
