How to customize your Livestream channel’s design with your brand Congratulations on venturing into the wild and exciting world of Livestreaming. That’s pretty exciting! Now, your channel will look like this when it’s first set up:

This is the default Livestream design.

How about we customize your channel to match your brand, so it’s more like this?

You may be wondering, “Do I have to upgrade to a paid Livestream account to have a custom design?” And, the answer is no, you can customize the look of your free account. The intention of this short and sweet report is to walk you through exactly what you need to do to make your Livestream channel look gorgeous. Ready? Let’s do it!

Areas You Can Customize

You will need: 1. Your logo. Size: 300 x 300 pixels Format: GIF, JPG or PNG Maximum file size: 500 k 2. A banner image. This can match the banner of your website or be customized for your specific Livestream channel (for example, if you’re

Livestreaming an event or program announcement, you’ll want to brand the channel to match.) Size: 592 x 120 pixels Format: GIF, JPG or PNG Maximum file size: 500 k 3. Optional: A background image. The page background can add a lot of style and pizzazz to your channel. a. Size: 1200 x 1600 pixels (or wider) is recommended, if you’re creating a full-screen background. You can also use an image that tiles. b. Format: GIF, JPG or PNG c. Maximum file size: 500k (this is the tricky part here – you’ll have to optimize your image to get it down to this size) 4. Background Color: Select a color for the background of your page. Even if you have a full-screen background, I recommend selecting a background color that matches your brand – the background color will be seen while your image loads, and if someone is watching your Livestream on a gigantic monitor, they’ll see the color around the edges.

Coincidentally, if you need help creating any of these graphics, I can help!

5 Steps To Upload Your Graphics To Your Livestream Channel 1. Log in to your Livestream account and select “configure” next to the channel you’d like to design.

2. You’ll be taken to the Configure Channel screen, where you’ll make all of these changes. Right away, you’ll get to upload your logo. The button is right near the top of the screen.

3. All good? Then let’s scroll down the page a bit until you see the “Channel Page” section. That’s where you’ll upload your banner.

4. All righty then… let’s scroll down more until you see the Channel Page Customization section, where you’ll see the Background Color and Upload Background options. Your page may or may not have this blue box that says “New Feature Alert!” on it…

5. Now you want to scroll all the way down to the very bottom of the page and hit the green Save button.

The final step: The Save button area will change to an “Are you sure” area: click the green checkmark if you are and you’re all set.

Once you save your changes, they may take up to 5 minutes to be reflected on your live channel page. So if you don’t see them right away, don’t panic!
