Step 1 — How to destroy a credit or debit card



Take a magnet and swipe it over the magnetic strip minimum 10 times.



Take something sharp and make hole where the chip was.

Step 2



Use a pair of scissors and cut the card into thin strips.

It is not recommended to have the strips thicker then 2mm.

The distance you see in the blue circle is not recommended to be more then 2mm.



Cut the card into many small parts as seen on the photo.



It is recommended to have a box/tin to prevent the parts to fly anywhere.

Look on the floor and on the table and see if you lost some parts of the card



If you found some, cut them also.

Take some parts in the trash at home and some other an other place, eg work, public area, etc.



Recomanded min 2 places 

Taking it to the neighbor will not increase security a lot.
