Job Title: Human Resource and Caring Ministries Administrative Assistant Position Type: Part time 20hours/week Direct Report: Human Resource and Caring Ministries Coordinator Role: Supports the Human Resource and Caring Ministries Department through administrative, training and operational support using a high level of compassion and confidentiality.
Skills/Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work both independently as well as with a team Compassion for and understanding of others circumstances Demonstrate excellent written and verbal abilities Capability to track and organize tasks from multiple areas Have the capacity and flexibility to modify plans when circumstances require Significant experience in MS Office, 365 a plus Strong understanding of the principles of database administration. Team training and tutorial experience preferred
Duties:
Maintain and process Human Resource Information Systems (H.R.I.S.) Track and distribute pertinent staffing information as needed Monitor status of background checks Manage Arena database based on department needs Create and manage reports for pastors and Care team Interact with members of congregation and staff, searching for resources Coordinate and dispatch Christmas flower deliveries Manage support mailings Create and share tutorials as technology needs change
