In a class of its own: the premium caravan ERIBA Nova S Bad Waldsee, 12 July 2016 – The ERIBA Nova S is the new flagship caravan from Hymer GmbH & Co. KG. Sporting an impressively modern, luxurious look, the new vehicle has been fully redesigned, from the exterior with specially developed rear lights down to the last detail of the interior. Premium materials and upholstery are centrestage, along with a perfectly coordinated lighting concept. Completing the package is a winterproof body for year-round camping. Of the three available layouts, the ERIBA Nova S 690 is the one that really stands out when it comes to space. Launched in 2007, the first generation of the ERIBA Nova S was unrivalled in the industry and established the category of the luxury caravan. Today, nearly ten years on, the caravan manufacturer from Bad Waldsee has achieved another milestone in this market segment with its successor model. Three different layouts will be available initially: the single-axle Nova S 545 and the tandem-axle Nova S 620 and Nova S 690. Available exclusively for this new luxury model range, the latter is also available in a further variant and is undoubtedly the showpiece among the three layouts in terms of its size.

“Our main aim in developing the ERIBA Nova S was to set new and important trends in the caravanning sector”, says Bernhard Kibler, Managing Director of Hymer GmbH & Co. KG. “We have succeeded in this in all three layouts, whereby the Nova S 690 is definitely the cherry on the cake when it comes to luxury and comfort.” Innovative design: the new face of ERIBA The new-look ERIBA Nova S is notable above all for its fully revamped exterior design which puts special emphasis on the rear, with striking lines, integrated sports car exhaust style openings and specially developed LED rear lights underlining the automotive-inspired design. All design elements have a functional purpose. The openings in the rear conceal the crank attachments for extending the corner steadies, for example. The multifunctional rear lights are equipped with the latest LED hybrid technology and a night signature

which reflects the distinctive stripes of the company logo. The sporty, dynamic design vocabulary of the rear is further underlined by the reintroduction of wrapping at the sides. The exterior design is completed by alloy rims developed exclusively for HYMER and ERIBA and fitted as standard. The maximum body width is 2.5 metres, with the Nova S 690 layout boasting an overall length of 8.7 metres. That takes freedom of movement and comfort to a whole new level, accommodating a total of five people. Inner values: new premium standard in modern design With its new caravan, the ERIBA brand has once again proved its credentials as an innovative pioneer, creating an interior design that echoes a modernstyle luxury hotel and combines dark wood with light colours. With four exclusive textile and leather combinations to choose from, there’s something to suit every taste. The ceiling in the living area is covered with microfibre fabric and the side walls with high-quality imitation leather. This makes for a pleasant ambience as well as improving the sound insulation. A further highlight is the new lighting concept, which uses a variety of different light sources to create a bright and attractive atmosphere. Indirect light sources, strategically placed spotlights and a large LED light panel above the seating area allow plenty of scope for individuality here. Lighting elements under the overhead lockers, a large ceiling lamp and side spotlights ensure optimal illumination of the living area. The sleeping area comes with new, individually adjustable gooseneck reading lights. In the luxury kitchen, the undersides of the cabinets and worktop are fitted with ambient LED lighting.

Innovative standard equipment The new ERIBA Nova S also features ERIBA’s 2014 European Innovation Award-winning “raum+system”, ensuring that plumbing and wiring are neatly hidden away in a specially designed installation duct. Just like the current Nova model range, the new caravan enjoys the indispensable advantage of winterproofing: thanks to PUAL insulation, a 51-millimetre-thick floor, doubleglazed PU framed windows, an insulated gas locker for the living area, optional ALDE hot water heater and hot water floor heater plus frost-proof plumbing, camping becomes a year-round pleasure. The wood-free GRP lightweight floor not only serves to reduce the vehicle weight, but also guards against damage en route from bumps and stone chips. The ERIBA Nova S is available from dealers with immediate effect. Basic price of Nova S 690 from 41,990 euros Basic price of Nova S 545 from 33,790 euros
