Our value for the next 2 weeks chosen by School Council is Happiness and how happiness starts from within and we should spread happiness with our smiles. Let’s be a school community who learn from our children! I heard that there was a problem with parking at the end of school on Thursday and would say again that pupils must not witness parents behaving badly towards one another. Monday is May procession lead by Year 4 but all parents are welcome to join us. Please send some flowers in so we can make up our bouquets for Our Lady’s altar. If you have anyone who you think would appreciate flowers from the May procession please let us know. I am a little concerned about the weather forecast. If it is raining we may have to have the crowning in the Hall and may not be able to invite parents in as it will be uncomfortable and unsafe. We will send out a parentmail if this is a case and probably invite Y4 parents only. The Cafod group will have a ‘bucket collection’ for Nepal at the end.

Year 1 As part of their current topic ‘Hooray Let’s Go on Holiday’ year one had a great time talking to some special visitors…. “Last week Sophie and Danny came to visit us. They are travel agents and they know lots about holidays. Their job is to help people decide where they would like to go on holiday . We all asked lots of Q’s and somebody asked ‘where is the most popular place to go on holiday?’ Sophie said ‘Turkey because it has lots of things to do@. Then Danny showed us a globe. A globe shows you all the countries. Danny told us that Russia is the biggest country.” Jemima 1P
