2015 SAMPLER Quilts Plus 2015 Sampler has two new color ways to choose from featuring pinwheel blocks in your choice of solids or romantics. This 12 month program meets as follows: 2nd Monday of each month at 10:15, 1:30 or 3:30. We will be demonstrating options for construction at each session. If the scheduled times are not convenient, or you prefer not to come to a meeting at all, you may pick up your block any time after the 2nd Monday of each month – or we can set up a program to mail your blocks to you. ADVANCED MACHINE QUILTING Learn the techniques necessary to make a whole cloth quilt. It is recommended you take the beginning machine quilting class before signing up for this one. Make sure to get class supply list and directions. Instructor: Cindy (1 session 10-3) DATE: Saturday, 9/26 Cost: $35 ARGYLE 51” x 67”. The traditional argyle pattern is completed with ric rac trim that ends in a beautiful vine in the borders. A bit of appliqué on the leaves and berries add the finishing touch. This quilt of flying geese wreaths is made from 2 Very Merry Jelly Rolls from Moda fabric, plus extra yardage needed to finish. Instructor: (4 sessions 10-3) DATES: Monday, 7/27, 8/3, 8/24, 8/31 Cost: $65 ELDON This quilt is a stunning design by Edyta Sitar of “Laundry Basket Quilts”. Making this quilt requires previous experience with quilt construction. This quilt will be, however, worth your time and effort. Instructions will include making “set in” seams (Y-seams used throughout the quilt). The pattern layout uses many scraps for 16 blocks. You can easily vary the size. The store sample uses 12 blocks and some added piecing on the side borders. Use your imagination and choose your own fabrics and create your own version. Template available and recommended. Pattern size 90” x 90”. Store sample 67” x 85”. Instructor: Joyce (4 sessions 10-3) DATES: Friday, 7/10, 7/24, 8/21, 9/4 Cost: $65 FLIP FLOP TABLE RUNNER 17” x 39”. This is a fun summer table runner featuring flip flops from the book, “Table Please”, by Art to Heart. Instructor: Deb (2 sessions 10-3) DATES: Tuesday, 7/14, 7/21 Cost: $40 ISLAND SUNSET 40” x 56”. Here is a bargello quilt like you've never seen before! Instead of streaking up and down, this design waves, twists, and curves to create beautiful shapes with incredible movement. The colors in this beautiful quilt are reminiscent of a sunset.
