Class Registration Policy Because we make commitments to our teachers and must plan for enough supplies for you, we ask that you register for classes early. Tuition is required at registration to reserve your space. You can register over the phone with a credit card (call us at 238-4151), or you can send a check or drop by the shop to pay. We will give you a full refund if we cancel the class because of low enrollment. If you cancel within a week of the class, we will happily give you store credit. Otherwise, class fees are nonrefundable. Please remember to come if you sign up, to give our teachers the full classes they were expecting: they work hard to prepare! Supply Lists Quilting, knitting, crochet, and felting supply lists are included under each class description. For quilting classes, also bring along basic sewing supplies: a sewing machine, scissors, pins, seam ripper, 100% cotton thread, rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and any other tools that you normally use while sewing.

Fold it, and voila—a sweater. Join Chris for this fun knit that is a real surprise! $40 Supplies: Pattern (available at the shop as a separate leaflet, or in the book Knitting Workshop), and appropriate yarn and needles. ANNUAL RETREAT PROJECTS Butin Necklace You will make this necklace in a few hours! It is perfect for gifts—and of course, for you. Laura Nelkin always comes up with clever designs for yarn and beads. Knitted Hexagons Knitters can make hexagons, too! Cynthia has designed a throw that will be a burst of Noro color! Watch her progress over the year as she works on it! Bonus: It’s a noseam project. Mountain Colors Fair-Isle Hat Cynthia designed this cheerful hat out of a bright Mountain Colors kit of sport-weight yarn. You can mix up the colors any way you wish. This hat is addictive! Flash of Light Quilt This quilt’s colors were inspired by a friend’s painting from this summer; she used rich, dark colors with the flash of yellow. You can make yours in any color you wish! Use either scraps or 2 1/2” strips. We’ll talk color theory for just a few minutes before starting so that you can make choices with maximum pop! Once you see how it’s Stitch Your Art Out

done and how easy it is, you can let loose with your imagination! Hexagon Quilt The Creative Grids hexagon rule is super fun to play with! Cynthia will give you different ideas for creating all kinds of hexagons, including stack and whacks! New York Beauty This classic block takes a bit of finesse, but the process is the fun of this beautiful block! Learn paper piecing and sewing curves! Retreat-Mystery Tablerunner We will make this runner in stages throughout the retreat. At different times, you’ll be handed a clue and will sew it immediately. You’ll have plenty of time to work on other things until the next clue comes your way! (The first person to guess the answer wins a prize!) Felted Soap We always end the retreat on Sunday afternoon with a felted soap class. Join us in the bathroom for a quick, pretty project! Twenty minutes and you’re done!
