2018 LJHS—11TH Annual Frosh/Soph (&/or “Novice JV”) Invitational WHAT: Boys Frosh/Soph & “Novice JV’ Volleyball Tournament WHEN: Saturday, April 21ST @ 9:00 A.M. WHERE: La Jolla High School HOW MUCH: $250 (If postmarked before February 15th) $275 (If postmarked after February 15th)
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
The tournament will host a total of 16 teams. Pool play will consist of 4 pools of 4 teams, playing 2 rally-scored games to 15, with 3rd games rally-scored to 11 (no cap on any games). ALL 16 TEAMS WILL ADVANCE TO PLAYOFFS. Playoffs will begin with a seeding round followed by playoff brackets. Playoff matches may also be 2 rally-scored games to 15, with 3rd games rally-scored to 11 or 1 game to 25 (depending on timeframe).
GOLD/SILVER DIVISION AWARDS: Team Awards: Player Awards:
1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies in the Gold Division 1st, and 2nd place trophies in the Silver Division 15 medals--1st place Gold Division Tournament Team Champions 1 plaque--All Tournament MVP; 6 trophies--All Tournament Team
