Manager / Coach Code of Conduct 2014
It is the position of Rushmore Little League that all Managers and coaches from the ranks of T-Ball through the Majors Division be held to a high standard of etiquette and sportsmanship. The following will be prohibited from all games and practices: using or directing profanity at anyone, yelling at or chastising game officials, yelling at or chastising a player or team, using tobacco of any form, attending a game or practice while being legally intoxicated and any other conduct not mentioned above that would be deemed unsportsmanlike, inappropriate or embarrassing for the League. Furthermore, the Manger of any team is accountable for the actions of his or her coaches and will be held responsible for violations of this Code of Conduct. The penalties for violations of this Code of Conduct will be as follows: 1. First display of unsportsmanlike conduct in a season will result in being ejected from the current game or practice and the Manger/Coach will be suspended from the following game. 2. Second display of unsportsmanlike conduct in the same season will result in being ejected from the current game or practice and the Manger/Coach will be suspended for the following three games 3. A third display of unsportsmanlike conduct in the same season will result in being ejected from the current game or practice and the Manger/Coach will be suspended for the remainder of the season.
