Marilyn was born January 28, 1938, in Lucan, MN,
the daughter of Lawrence H. & Clara Muetzel Hartwich. She married Arland R. Seabloom at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Orion on June 2, 1961. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2013. Marilyn was employed as a Kindergarten teacher in the Orion School District, retiring in 1992. She loved children and touched many lives in her 32-year teaching career, as she taught many family generations. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Orion, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She belonged to the teacher’s union, was a member of the Red Hat Society, was a den mother for Cub Scouts, and enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her son, Dan (Nikki) Seabloom, Orion, daughter, Kathryn Nash (Mark Smith), Orion; 4 grandchildren, Lisa (Chad) Nelson, Eau Claire, WI, Mikayla Seabloom, DeKalb, IL, Madison Seabloom, Orion, and Benjamin Seabloom, Orion; great grandchild, Ovila Nelson, Eau Claire, WI; sister, Cheryl (Bob) Thompson, Orion; many nieces & nephews, including special niece, Brenda (Jeremy) Coulter, Orion. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 2 brothers, Ardell Hartwich and Herbert Hartwich.
