May Event Details Community-wide Family Summer Kick-Off— 6th (5:00-6:30) Youth will both participate and work this event. It will include food, games, basketball, and possibly ultimate Frisbee. It will be held in the park! Youth Camp: June 25-29, Mission Fuge, Houston, TX, Cost $355 $50 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot. $100 payment due Wednesday, May 9. Serve the City— 12th (9:00-1:00) We’ve been rained out for our last two, but we’re dead set on getting this done! We hade a threatening tree cut down at the home of a widow from our church, and it’s still there! We will be hauling off or burning the tree. We will meet in the Fillin’ Station at 8:45 for breakfast. We will depart for the work sight at 9:00. Lunch will be provided Youth Sunday/Senior Recognition— 20th Sunday school will be held in the Activity Center and will start at 9:15 on this day as we have a breakfast to honor our graduating seniors. Non-seniors will need to arrive at 9 am to help serve breakfast. We will then have a program during the Sunday school hour in honor of the seniors. The 10:45 worship service will be 100% youth led. There will also be a portion of the service that is dedicating to honoring and sharing the future plans of each individual senior who is present that day. Senior/Senior parents– you were emailed (if we had your e-mail address) and mailed a hard copy of a letter with the information. Deadline for RSVP and pictures is Sunday, May 3.

Volleyball— 20th (6:00-7:00) Come play some Volleyball in the Activity Center! Bring a friend! All skill levels welcome! Student Led Small Groups—27th (6:00-7:00) Students will be split into gender specific groups to discuss what it means to be a true disciple of Christ in a way that cultivates sharpening one another. These groups will be led by upper classmen in the youth group.
