Date: 04/01 /2017 This invitation for Tender follows the General Procurement Notice for these Projects which appeared in the Daily News Issue No. ISSM0856-3812 dated 21/07/2016

The Musoma Municipal Council has received Funds from Central Government (Road Fund Board) in Financial Year 2016/2017 towards the cost of roads maintenance works. The Municipal Director's Office intends to apply these funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for improving the roads.
3.
The Musoma Municipal Council is now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Civil Contractors registered or capable of being registered with the Tanzania Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Class V and above (Package 07), Class VI and above (Package No. 02, 04, 06 and 08) and Class VII and above (Package No. 03, 05, 09 and l 0) for carrying out the works above.

Tendering will be conducted through the National Bidding Procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act of 2011 and Procurement Regulations, 2013 - Government Notice No.446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the regulations.
6.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Musoma Municipal Council, P.O.Box 194, Musoma from 0900 - 1530 hrs on Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public holidays.
7.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee ofTshs 100,000/=. Payment should be made through NMB Bank Account No. 30310002537 and submit the pay slip to Musoma Municipal Council Cashier's Office.

All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender securing declaration in format provided In the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.

Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days after tender opening and must be accompanied by a Tender security declaration in the format provided in the Tender documents.
11.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly tilled, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address; Secretary of the Tender Board, Musoma Municipal Council, P. 0. Box 194, Musoma at or before 10:00 hours local time on Tuesday, 31" January, 2017 for Tender documents. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter read out in public and in the presence ofTenders' representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the Musoma Municipal Council Hall - Musoma.
12.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tender not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of any circumstances.
13.
The Musoma Municipal Council-is not bound to accept the lowest or the highest of any Tender and reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders received.
