NEWS AND EVENTS Sunday’s Message- Jordan River Parkway This Sunday, September 24 we will be serving the community during our normal worship hour. Please meet at 9:45am at the General Holm Park located at 1050 W Carlisle Park Lane (off 3900 S), South Salt Lake, UT 84119. We will be cleaning up the parkway of goat heads, trash and other invasive weeds. Mike and Jill VanMilligen invite everyone to their home for a potluck lunch after the cleanup is over, about 11:15. Please plan to attend even if you are unable to join us at the park. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs too! The VanMilligen home is located at 4800 S 1103 W; Taylorsville, UT 84123. Things to Wear/Bring Long pants Closed-toe-shoes Hat/Sunglasses Sunblock Refillable water bottle Rain Jacket if forecasted

Living Justly - The Final Chapters! Join us as we wrap up the Living Justly small group study. We will plan to meet on Sunday, September 24 at 5:30 PM at the Gutzwiller home for Session 8 and on Sunday, October 22 for Sessions 9 and 10. Special Offering-October 1 Don’t forget your non-perishable food items…. The special offering next week will be for the Utah Food Bank. The food bank was founded in 1904, has operated under various names but has always remained true to our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 417,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 7 Utahns, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 5 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support last year, we distributed 38.1 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 31.8 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state.
