Malvern High School JROTC Leopard Battalion Newsletter November 2017

Leader’s Column Leopard Battalion, Hoorah! I am extremely proud of our battalion and our recent major accomplishment. We scored a 95.6 on our JAIP, which therefore qualifies us as an Honor Unit with Distinction. It is an incredible achievement and I am exceptionally proud of the effort put in by our leadership, STAFF members, and overall battalion. It took diligence, hard work, exceptional teamwork, and many long afternoons but it all came together to show how brilliant our battalion and JROTC program truly is. As Battalion Commander, I can truly say it is an honor to serve this battalion and I am extremely proud of our major accomplishment. I am looking forward to our Brookland Drill Meet and a productive, successful rest of the year. Keep up the great work cadets and striving for excellence in all you do! We are very proud of all our Cadets for their hard work and continued development. Progress reports just went out before Thanksgiving, and some individuals have a class or two they need to work hard in to get a grade up. SFC Mitchell and I challenge all of you to finish strong over the next few weeks and do all you can to earn the best grades possible this semester. Thank you all for your continued support. With colder weather moving in, we will be issuing the black windbreaker jackets to Cadets very soon.

Hooah! Colonel Daniel SFC Mitchell
