Nutrition for Adventure Racing Athlete Scenario During sprint races I use sport drinks, carbohydrate gels and energy bars, but I get sick of them during longer events. When I stop fueling adequately I run out of energy. How can I fuel myself for longer races to optimize my energy level without relying solely on sport foods?
