PaTTerns Templates.
Make a copy of the template you are going to use or trace all the pattern pieces on thin paper or tracing pap Remember to transfer all the pattern markings too.
Working with the patterns
Drawing the patterns onto fabric.
Draw the pattern pieces on the cotton fabric with a 4B or 6B pencil, you do not need a special fabric pencil. Yo

Once the pattern pieces are in alignment, use tape toI recommend placing the paper on a newspaper when painting it with the oil. It leaves a mess. You will be suprised by the great result! stick them together.
Making your own tracing paper
Drawing the patterns onto fabric Lay your fabric on a flat surface, such as a table or floor. Put the pattern on the wrong side of the fabric, put something heavy on it to make sure it stays in place, then use a 4B or 6B pencil or a fabric marker pen to draw around the edge of the pattern piece, as close as you can get. Remember to add a 1cm (3⁄8in) seam allowance, but this doesn’t have to be very precise: use the drawn pattern lines as your guideline. When you are using fleece, use a marker to draw out pattern pieces onto the fabric, and pick a colour that is close to the fabric colour.
Tracing paper is something that you can easily create yourself. All you need are regular 75g paper (printer paper), vegetable oil and a paintbrush. Paint the paper with the vegetable oil and let it dry. (I recommend placing the paper on newspaper before painting it with oil as it does leave a bit of a mess.)
Tip: As all the patterns are reproduced full size, you can copy or trace them and start work immediately as no resizing is required.
