STEWARDSHIP May 13 – Easter 7 1 John 5:12 “Whoever has the Son has life: whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Jesus is the foundation, the bedrock, the beginning and the end. To have Him is to have it all. In Him we have life. And we are called to live in Him, to live this new life He has given us, to grow up into His image. This is a struggle in this sinful world. But His grace is sufficient as He refreshes us through Word and Sacrament. Witness: Jesus has defeated our greatest spiritual enemy, Satan! Now we can look with confidence to our risen and ascended Lord and invite others to join us in this journey of faith.

Celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Why not celebrate with everyone at Peace and beautify the Church by placing a flower donation on the Altar, and take them with you after Sunday services. Simply contact Shirley Clough or another local florist to create your arrangement and have it delivered in time for the weekend services. SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Bryce William Miles, infant son of April and Brock Miles, was baptized into the Christian faith on Saturday morning, May 12th at Peace. We rejoice with those who were confirmed in the Christian faith last Sunday, May 6th at Peace: Aubrianna DiStefano, Madilyn Ladron, Nicholas Meier, Matthew Raue, and Logan Sutton. The Lord bless these young people as they continue in their journey of faith in the Savior! A word of thanks to Judy Beyer, who made the confirmation stoles for our confirmands. SWD Financial Aid - The South Wisconsin District offers grants for students from our District who are attending a Concordia University or Seminary, preparing to be a full-time church worker (pastor, teacher, deaconess, lay minister, DPM, DCE, DCO, DFLM).
