News: I can’t believe it’s already December! We have a lot of fun and educational events happening in the Penguin class this month. First, we have a field trip to B Street Theater December 8th to see Robin Hood. So many parents wanted to join us; unfortunately, the theater can only accommodate 5 parent chaperones.
IMPORTANT DATES December 8th- B Street Theater 12th- Class craft fair 16th- Pajama party
The week before break we will have a craft fair Monday afternoon, Thursday will be a cookie decorating party, and finally, Friday a pajama game day! I am so thankful for Maria Montessori! Because of her genius and tenacity, I am able to use one of the most comprehensive teaching methodologies ever created to meet each of my students needs.

Homework: The week of December 5th…….Due Friday, December 9th Daily Spelling: Spelling Tic Tac Toe (follow the directions)
Reminders
Please label your child’s clothes, outerwear and lunch boxes
Field Trip Drivers; Please turn in your required documentation to the office
Math: -Math Facts in a Flash (use your child’s Ren Place log in) Reading: Please have your child read 20 minutes a day Sight words: Review the Fry’s sight word lists with your child. Rosetta Stone: 30 minutes a week
Balls and jump ropes of recess Brown paper bags for gift wrap Jacks the game Yoga mat
